Carlos Graullera

Carlos Graullera studied with Alejandro Abad, Noelia Ferrando and Vicente Balaguer, in Valencia. He has studied two years in the Conservatory of Music of Aragon with Professor Enrique Palomares, and also receive master classes with Nicolas Chumachenco, Alexander Da Costa, Erez Ofer and Latica Honda-Rosenberg.

He has been concertmaster of several orchestras like Orchestra Atrium "Tot per la Musica" of Ontinyent, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Sociedad Instructiva Musical de Cullera, CSMA Symphony Orchestra, etc.. It also collaborates with the “Collegium Instrumentale” of Valencia and with the Orchestra of Cadaqués. In addition, he has performed as soloist with the Camerata Aragon and has acted in the Kammersaal of Berlin Philharmonie with musicians such Wenzel Fuchs, Gábor Tarkövi, Sarah Willis or Joulain Hervé, members of the Berliner Philharmoniker.

In 2001, he won an “accésit” in the elementary level in the XIII Concurso de Jóvenes Intérpretes “Ruperto Chapí” de Villena (Alicante). In March 2006 he won the First Prize at the XIX Concurso de Jóvenes Intérpretes “Ruperto Chapí” de Villena (Alicante). In January 2007 he was a finalist in the XI Concurso de Jóvenes Intérpretes “Ciutat de Xàtiva”. In May 2007 he won the first prize in its category at the Concurso de Jóvenes Intérpretes “Ciutat de Lliria”. In January 2008, won first prize in its category at the XII Concurso de Jóvenes Intérpretes “Ciutat de Xàtiva” and in May 2010 won second place shared on the International Violin Competition "Violines por la Paz" in Torres, Jaén.

Carlos is member of the “Artis Iter” String Quartet with which he has won several awards, like the competition "Acordes Caja Madrid 2007" and the First Prize at the 68th edition of the Permanent Competition Jeunesses Musicales of Spain in November 2007. As a result, he has made concert tours throughout Spain and has been working with great chamber musicians as the "Artemis Quartett", "Vogler Quartett", "Cuarteto Casals”, Jacques Ammon or Heime Müller, among others. Currently, he tours throughout Spain organized by the Society of Performers of Spain (AIE) and works regularly with the Quartet Quiroga.
