Christoph Croisé was born in Switzerland in 1993 and started his cello instruction at the age of seven with Katharina Kühne Schwarz. Since 2007 he is a pupil of Alexander Neustroev, principal cellist at the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. From 2006 to 2009 Christoph was a multiple prize-winner at the Swiss Youth Music Competition in the categories solo, duo and piano trio. In May 2009 he won First Prize at the 14th International Competition for Young Musicians «Petar Konjovic» in Belgrade. In 2010 he won First Prize at the International Competition „Ibla Grand Prize“ in Sicily as well as the Tchaikovsky Award and the Constanza Arezzo Giampiccolo di Donnafugata Award.
In 2010 Christoph Croisé partook in the tour „Stars of Tomorrow“ of the «European Union of Music Competition for Youth» in Bavaria and Austria. In 2011 he performed fifteen concerts on a tour through the US making his debut at the Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall, in New York City. In March 2012, Christoph made his debut at Carnegie Hall´s Zankel Hall with Tchakovski´s Rokoko Variations under the baton of S. Kirov with the Musical Olympus Orchestra. As a soloist he further could be heard with the Skyline Symphony- Chamber Orchestra Frankfurt, Camerata Zurich, Staatskapelle St. Petersburg and the Philharmonic Orchestra Budejovice under the baton of M. Sanderling, L. Gendre, A. Ardal and D. Botinis. Christoph Croisé has appeared at numerous festivals including the Musical Olympus Festival in St. Petersburg, the Festival of Russian Culture in Switzerland in 2011 or the Menuhin Festival Gstaad in 2012. He has attended master classes with David Geringas, Frans Helmerson, Thomas Demenga, Michael Sanderling, W.-E.Schmidt, Wen-Sinn Yang, Martin Löhr, Yvan Chiffoleau and Walter Grimmer. Christoph Croisé is a scholarship holder of the Fritz Gerber Foundation and the Lyra Foundation. He plays a cello by Günter H. Lobe from Bubenreuth.
