Isa-Sophie Zünd

Isa-Sophie Zünd grew up in Liechtenstein and attended the music high school in Feldkirch. There she completed her basic artistic studies at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory with Anna Adamik. She is currently studying with Claudio Martínez Mehner and Adrian Oetiker in Basel. She receives chamber music lessons from Anton Kernjak. 

The young pianist regularly takes part in master classes with, among others, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Ian Fountain, Pavel Gililov, Paul Gulda, Hung-Kuan Chen and Annamaria Bodoky-Krause. She also receives additional impulses for her artistic training from Oliver Schnyder. She is a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks there. 

At the “Swiss Youth Music Competition” and the austrian competition “Prima La Musica”, she won several 1st prizes and a special prizes at the national level. Isa-Sophie could be heard live on the radio several times, for example as part of the series "Talente im Funkhaus" (ORF).

Isa-Sophie performed as a soloist with an orchestra for the first time at the age of 13, and one year later she performed her first recital. She appears regularly in chamber music formations or as a soloist, including with the symphony orchestra of the Vorarlberg State Conservatory (piano concerto in E minor by Chopin), the Liechtenstein-Werdenberg orchestra ("Rhapsody in Blue" by Gershwin) and the Liechtenstein symphony orchestra. Her concert activities have taken her to Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Austria as well as to Germany and Hungary.
