Arsen Dalibaltayan

Arsen Dalibaltayan was born in 2003 and received his first piano lessons at the age of six from Professor Jasna Reba at the “Pavla Markovca” School of Music in Zagreb. Since 2014 he has received a scholarship from the International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein, and participates in the intensive music weeks held there.

Despite his tender age, the young pianist has already won 1st prizes at numerous competitions, including the international piano competition “Città di Gorizia” in 2010, the “Ars Nova” international piano competition in Trieste (Italy) in 2011, the “Zlatko Grgoševic” international competition for young pianists in 2012 in Zagreb, the Croatian national competition in Dubrovnik in 2013 and 2015, the “Young Virtuoso” international piano competition in Zagreb in 2014 and the EPTA competition in Osijek in 2015. In November 2015 he was the outright winner across all of the categories at the renowned “Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte” international piano competition in Ústí nad Labem (the Czech Republic). He was also awarded a special prize for the best interpretation of a composition by Johann Sebastian Bach. In 2016 he won the “Jurica Murai” competition in Varadžin.

Arsen Dalibaltayan gave his first performance with orchestral accompaniment at the age of nine, when he played Haydn’s Piano Concerto in D Major.
