Iren Pilikian

Iren Pilikyan was born in 2003. She is a student of the Central Music School of Moscow State Conservatory as a pianist. She studies with professor Alexander Mndoyants. 

She has attended masterclasses with professors Dmitri Bashkirov, Tamas Ungar, Emanuel Krasovsky, Tatiana Zelikman, Alexander Mndoyants, Tomer Lev, Aviram Reichert, Yaron Rosenthal, Claudio Martinez Mehner, Alon Goldstein, Victor Rosenbaum, Vladimir Feltsman, Harold Martina, John Owings, Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Dmitri Alexeev, Yoheved Kaplinsky and Emanuel Krasovsky.

She also receives a scholarship from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and participates in the intensive music weeks held there.

Iren is a prize winner of many competitions. In 2019 she won the 1st prize, the special prize and the gold metal at the “Arno Babajanyan International Competition-Festival for Junior and Young Pianists” in Yerevan, Armenia. At the “International Music Festival ‘Zeus’” in Athen, Greece, she won the 1st prize at the masterclass competition.

Iren participated in the concerts of the Festival New Names of Armenia, the Tel-Hai International Piano Master-Classes in Israel and the PianoTexas Festival in the US in 2018.
