Isabelle Kruithof

Isabelle Kruithof was born in Luxembourg in 2001 and received her first violin lessons from her mother at the age of four. At the age of five she moved to the Conservatoire du Nord in Luxembourg, where she achieved the highest number of points in all disciplines (violin, chamber music, piano and solfège). Since the school year 2016/2017 she has been studying with Coosje Wijzenbeek at the Conservatory in Amsterdam. 

The young violinist attended master classes with Pierre Amoyal, Larissa Kolos and in 2015 at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Kurt Sassmannshaus. She also received private lessons from Misha Furman and Coosje Wijzenbeek. She was also a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and took part in the intensive weeks there. 

In 2010 Isabelle won the "Concours Artistique d’Épinal" in France. In 2012 and 2014 she was the winner of the “Concours Luxembougeois pour Jeunes Solistes” and was awarded the “Prix de Sacem”. 

Isabelle was a member of the symphony orchestra at the Conservatoire du Nord. In 2015 and 2016 they played in two projects with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Luxembourg. Since April 2016 she has been a member of the “Fancy Fiddlers” ensemble, which is directed by Coosje Wijzenbeek.
