Jordan Hadrill

The violinist Jordan Hadrill was born in the year 2000, and is taught by Professor Nicolas Koeckert and Kathryn Krueger. She has attended masterclasses with David Halen (concert master with the St. Louis Symphony/USA) and with Cornelia Heard (Blair String Quartet and Vanderbilt University/USA). She also receives a scholarship from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and participates in the intensive music weeks held there.

In December 2015 she was awarded 1st prize at the Singapore National Piano and Violin Competition in the Intermediate Age Category for violin, and was also invited to play at the Prize Winners’ Concert in the Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore.

In August 2015, Jordan Hadrill performed at the Spotlight Recital as part of the Aspen Music Festival and School in Colorado (USA) and in September 2015 she performed at the Allegro Vivo Festival in Schloss Waldreichs (Austria). In January 2016, she gave a performance with the pianist Francois-Xavier Poizat as part of the Winners & Masters concert series in Gasteig in Munich.

Jordan Hadrill has been able to accumulate orchestral experience with the Aspen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Young Artists Orchestra of Boston University’s Tanglewood Institute (BUTI).

She has also gathered experience as a chamber musician at the Castleman Quartet Program in New York, the Aspen Music Festival and School (violin and guitar duo, violin and piano duo, piano trio and octet) and at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute (chamber music, string quartet as 1st violin).
