Lotte Reich

Born in 1988, Lotte Reich received her first violin lessons at the age of seven at the music school in Calw. She later entered Ulrike Abdank´s class at the Stuttgart Music School before becoming a junior student of Prof. Christian Sikorski at the Music Academy Stuttgart. Since October 2008, Lotte has been studying with Prof. Latica Honda -Rosenberg at the University of Arts in Berlin. She also attended master classes with Christian Sikorski, Ulf Schneider, Latica Honda -Rosenberg and Maria Egelhof.

Lotte Reich is a multiple prize-winner of the federal competition "Young Musicians" in the field of chamber music as well in the solo and duo rating. She was section leader as well as concertmaster of the Young Chamber Orchestra Stuttgart and also a member of the State Youth Orchestra of Baden-Württemberg, National Youth Orchestra, Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. She has toured extensively throughout Germany, England, Australia, China and Japan. As a soloist, the young artist has performed with the Chamber Symphony Calw, the Young Chamber Orchestra of Stuttgart and the Residenz Orchester Berlin. In 2012, Lotte benefited from a traineeship with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.
