Robert Pogorilic

Robert Pogorilic was born in 1995. At the age of nine, he began taking piano and flute lessons. He is currently a student at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana under Prof. Milena Lipovšek. In 2010 he began to take part in competitions. That same year, he was awarded first Prize at the Sovenian National Music Competition for Youth (TEMSIG). In 2011 he was a laureate at the EMONA Music Competition and in 2012 he won first Prize at the International Woodwind Competition in Pozarevac. In 2013, he was awarded second Prize as well as a special prize at the TEMSIG competition in the category flute.

Pogorilic Robert was a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Ljubljana and has already performed as a soloist with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also played for the Slovenian Young Musicians in Ljubljana. The young flutist attended numerous master classes with Emily Beynon, Juliette Hurel, Andrea Oliva, Janos Balint, Sophie Cherrier, Milena Lipovšek, Carlo Jans and Julien Beaudiment.
