Anna Talácková was born in 1993 in the Czech Republic. She begun her flute studies at the Music Grammar School of Prague in 2008 by Jan Novák, continued at the Prague Conservatoire by Jan Ostrý and nowadays she is finishing the Master’s degree in his class at the University of Ostrava. In 2015-2016 she was a student of Carlos Bruneel at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in fall of 2018 was studying by Matej Zupan in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Anna participated in flute master courses with Ph. Bernold, B. Kuijken, R. Wolf, G. Pas-Van Riet, S. Francois, H. Schmeiser, Ph. Boucly and others. In addition, she received a scholarship from the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and took part in the academy's intensive music weeks and activities.
In 2018, she was one of six semifinalists in the “Markneukirchen International Instrumental Competition” and in 2019, she received the 2nd prize in the “Prague Spring International Music Competition”.
Anna performed flute works in Prague’s famous concert halls and in 2015 graduated from Prague Conservatoire as a soloist with Mozart’s Flute Concerto G major. She is a member of Czech Student Philharmonic and also performs as a guest player in several Czech orchestras, such as the Janácek Philharmonics Ostrava or the PKF-Prague Philharmonia.
