Franziska Wenzel was born in Germany in 1991. At the age of eight she obtained her first violin instruction from Jefim Shkolnyk at the Music School in Mühlacker later moving on to the one in Ettlingen. After graduating from high school, Franziska enrolled at the University of Arts Berlin in the class of Frau Prof. Latica Honda-Rosenberg in 2011.
She is a foundationer of the Rotary-Clubs Enzkreis and has won several national prizes at „Jugend musiziert“ in the categories solo violin, duo and chamber music. Furthermore, Franziska has attended master classes with Prof. Mazo, Prof. Gradov, Prof. Kless and Prof. Latica Honda-Rosenberg. In 2009 she performed chamber music with Jean- Philippe Collard and in 2010 participated at the Monastery Concerts in Maulbronn while also featuring as a soloist with regional orchestras.
