Eva Šulic (1997) has been playing the violin since the age of four. She received her first lessons from Zorica Todorovic at the Conservatory for Music and Ballet in Maribor. Between 2006 and 2010, she studied at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory in Graz with Professor Helfried Fister. Since 2011 she has been enrolled in Prof. Leonid Sorokov’s class at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She also receives a scholarship from the International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein, where she frequently attends intensive music weeks.
The young violinist regularly takes part in national and international competitions. In 2006 and 2009 she received the 1st prize at the international competition “Ars Nova” in Trieste (Italy); in 2012 and 2015 she won the Slovenian National Competition “TEMSIG” and in 2013 she was awarded 1st prize at the “Tartini International Competition” in Piran.
Eva Šulic has already performed in Italy, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Austria and Slovenia. As a soloist she has appeared in concert with the Maribor and Graz Conservatory Symphony Orchestras, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra and the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra.
