Audrey Voisin

Audrey Voisin was born in Nuremberg in 2001 to a German-French family. At the age of five she received her first violin lessons from Lutz ter Voert (orchestra member at the Frankfurt Opera), since 2007 she was a pupil of Britta Bose–ter Voert at the Priamus Akademy Markgröningen. Since September 2011, Audrey received additional private lessons with Prof. Stéphanie Moraly. In October 2012, she was admitted into her class at the Conservatoire de Paris.

Audrey has won a remarkable number of music competitions: at the age of only six she was the youngest participant at the regional competition „Jugend musiziert“ in the duo category where she won First Prize. In October 2009 Audrey was awarded First Prize with Honours at the state-wide competition of the Tonkünstlerverband Baden-Württemberg. In January 2010, she won First Prize with the highest score at the regional competition „Jugend musiziert“ (solo category) in the age group 1b. In October of the same year, she was first prize-winner at the International Paul Hindemith Competition in Berlin. In April 2011, Audrey scored First Prize and „Premier Grand prix“ for all age categories at the International „Flame“ Competition in Paris. She also is laureate and recipient of a special prize at the International Andrea Postacchini Competition in Italy. In 2013 she won first prize at the International Competition Vatelot in Paris, and, the very same year, was awarded first prize with the highest score at "Jugend musiziert".

Since 2008, Audrey Voisin annually attends the International Summer Academy „Cordes et Pics“ with Prof. Stephanie Moraly in France. Moreover, she regularly contributes to the concert series „Podium junger Künstler“ („Podium for Young Artists“) of the friends´ association „Kunst und Kultur“ („Arts and Culture“) in Bad Rappenau, performing amongst others with the pianist Christina Vetter. In June 2012, she performed Mozart's Violin Concerto K. 216 in the concert series "Junge Solisten aus Mittelbaden" with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Lorenzo Coladonato.
